NECESSARY TOOLS

Ratchet wrench with ½" socket

Combination wrench

Variable speed drill w/ 3/8" hex head drive

Safety glasses

STEP ONE : Determine proper bracket placement

1. There are three places on the inside of the rocker panel werethe brackets need to be placed.

2. Loosely bolt (hand tighten) brackets to the humps on the inside of the rocker panel, as shown in Fig A. 

3. The rear brackets (straight brackets) mount on the frame of the vehicle and the twist strap bolts to side of bracket and up to the rocker panel. 

4. Do this with all brackets putting them in their proper places.

STEP TWO : Hooking up boards to brackets.

1. Place the running board on the brackets with the support bolts falling through the slots in the foot of the bracket

2. Hand tighten the board to the brackets using 5/16" lock nuts

3. Slide board in or out to desired location

4. Tighten down flange nuts under running board to lock into place.

STEP THREE : Installing twist straps to rocker panel.

1. Bolt all straps to side of brackets using 5/16" hex bolt and flange nut. (Fig. D)

2. Bolt strap to the rocker panel using a 8mm bolt and. Do this with all of the brackets

3. Make sure foam tape is in proper place before bolting straps.

4. Check that all brackets are tight before stepping on boards.
